After another good range session the deed is done, the hybrid has gone into the boot and we see a welcome return of a virtually unused shiney 4 iron - let the low flying ball flight commence :D

I binned my hybrid permanently two days ago. It was proving pointless, I was getting such inconsistent results with it.
I put a 3 iron in the bag today. On the one par 3, I hit it and for general distance-munching shots, I used a 5 wood instead.
On balance, I'd say I did better without it.

Well the hybrid was out the bag Saturday and the 4i performed well, got me out of a few jams and even put me on the green on a 210 yard par 3, she's staying put!

I bought into the hybrid hype, I have owned more that I care to mention. I could hook the snot out of all of them, more so than any other club. :D

My 4 iron is straighter, just as easy to hit and my new friend.

I am welling up here OS, more and more decent blokes are seeing the light :)
Keep up the good work!

I sold my hyrbid at Blackmoor last Monday. Just couldn't get on with it.
I'm thinking of adding a "gentlemans persuader" (7 wood) to the bag as I'm hitting my 4 iron gash.
Feck, is it another sign of old age????
