It's a great course and the clubhouse is top notch, the front 9 is tree lined and the back 9 more open links style, if you could play the front 9 of the Fidra and the back 9 of the Direlton it would take some beating.

Played Fidra when I was there too
Stunning clubhouse
Great terrace out the back overlooks both courses 18th Holes
Good Food and reasonable prices
Great welcome and service from start to finish
Even the Locker Rooms are something else
Good practice Facilities with pyramids of Titleists ready waiting for you

Played Fidra when I was there too

Reminds me of the Marillion song- warm wet circles and the line "dancing beams of the Fidra lighthouse"

Played it a few weeks ago, course was in stunning condition despite the poor weather we've had, if i'm being honest I was a little dissapointed in the course, it was a good test of golf but I expected wow and it wasn't! The service and hospitality certainly is wow. Great clubhouse, practice facilities and the locker room service is great. Staff are superb as well
