Had to post this....

Picture the scene.....Im here in the sitting room rehersing some patrs to a new swing that im working on with my teacher .......
Ball is on the WOODEN floor, Tee peg in the mouth to aid keeping my head still, 7 Iron in hand and i start out makng exaggerated slow motion moves.......

I do this about a half doaen times and then decide to give it my sunday best and let fly with what i thought was going to be a nice AIR swing........

Unfortunalety i connected perfectly with the ball and sent it hurtling at the curtains which had been drawn, Thankfully


Had some explaining to do to HID's about the loud crack against the floor though

Haha, I have taken a few chunks out of various carpets (now replaced) before.
I'm only supposed to chip and putt inside now, no full swings.

I can manage at best a three quarter punch shot, but the carpet is getting a bit thin.

Wll the sitting room ceiling is 8ft high and its 16 x 12 wide with a couch....So plenty of room for a full swing with a 7 Iron
Its this new compact swing im learning

Also to those with the warped imaginations....There's more than one reason curtains are drawn

LOL, why did you even have a ball down? If I hit a shot in my house the curtains would not stop the ball hitting the window. You must have some nice think curtains.

I had the ball down alex to concentrate on keeping my head still....( Thats what the tee peg in the mouth was for also)

I wasnt too worried about the window as such....Behind the curtains are venetian blinds as well so the Glass was safe enough

Assuming you are somewhere near 6ft tall the club only has to go 2 feet above your head and it's through the plaster... you're either A) Mad or B) Not swinging through properly.

I happen to know it's B, but could be A aswell
