The Junior league our Club is in enters this competition every year and it brings together nearly all the Junior leagues around the UK. My nephew played in it one year, and I went along to watch and was very impressed. It's probably because it's run independently from any County Union that it runs so well!
There was a reference yesterday on the commentary from the Johnnie Walker at Gleneagles that thee is to be a junior Ryder Cup, to be held at Blairgowrie in Scotland, next year, but that's the first I've heard of it.
The Home countries play each other at under 18 [years old] level.
That is when you see the next best things starting to make a name for themselves.
It is a good event to spectate as a junior as it gives you an idea about just how good you have to be to reach that level.
