My friends daughter has handed her 3 cards in & asked if I knew how its all added up, I pretty much guessed, she shot 122, 121, 120, so for ease I did it on 120.

Is it 120-72= 48, then she gets allowance on shots that are 3 over for a max of six times to bring them to 3 over, she had, she had 5 so I added up the 5 shots over the limit making that a 15 shot reduction, so I did 48-15=33, so is it roughly a 33 handicap or am I totally wrong, as I think it could be wrong as if you go to the max of the 6 shots that knocks 15 shots off & make a lower score, I dont know & I did tell him im about 2% sure how it works myself lol

cheers

As Far as I am aware,Junior girls play off the same handicap as a Lady, which is a maximum handicap of 36,
Junior boys can play off a maximum handicap of 54 as opposed to a maximum handicap of 28 compared to a gents.
If the course is a par 72 (for ladies) Your friends daughter should be off a handicap of 36.

cheers ben i'll let him know, he said they have a club handicap for girls of 37 to 54 & the offical handicap is 36, he just wanted to know if she had got a club or offical handicap, he can't wait to find out lol, just because I play he thought i'd know even though I dont have an offical handicap myself :o
