What's everyone's golfing (and otherwise) plans for the weekend then?

HID is off on a Netball tour until Sunday night, so I shall be cooking myself Steak dinner and cleaning my clubs this evening as well as packing my bags as I'm off east for the weekend. Playing at Bearwood Lakes tomorrow lunchtime with a right bunch of knobs. Excited about playing here for the first time as I've heard nothing but good things about it and although the weather forecast isn't perfect, it's due to be dry with sunny intervals, which I'll take!

Few beers on Saturday night with Swinger and Richart, followed by a round at Swinger's place on Sunday morning...in the rain apparently :(. Hopefully the Queen will have sorted the weather out by then and it will stay dry for us.

Back on sunday night to sleep..alot. Then I'm doing nothing until Wednesday!

I was going to play every day, but then I saw the weather forecast.

I was going to cut my hedges, but then I saw the weather forecast.

At least I won't have to wash my car. The rain can do it for me.

I'm taking the car to the "local" hand car wash tonight. There's no chance I'm rocking up at Bearwood Lakes with a car covered in tree sap and bird presents.

Also, a shame we couldn't get a "mini meet" sorted for the Sunday. Might have been a blessing in disguise looking at the weather.

Weather up here is fantastic at the moment and looking like it staying that way for the next few days.

My home course is closed for the Curtis Cup from today, so have a few rounds elsewhere planned.

Tain on Saturday with 3 guys from Nairn

Royal Dornoch on Sunday with a mate who's a member

Grantown on Spey on Monday with our roll up as Nairn has done us a deal.

Castle Stuart Tuesday, freebe with a few mates

Nairn Dunbar on Wednesday, another Nairn reciprical for the Curtis Cup. :);)

Nothing much, be nice to have a lie in for a change though. Just playing the sat and sun.
Our street is having a party on Tuesday, we've not been invited even though we are slap bang in the middle of the street.
I'm not suprised they all get along, if you put 50 children with down's syndrome in a room there is going to be alot of hugging.. Need I say more.

Golf every day assuming my cough-induced-broken-back can take the strain! Just practice games at Wyboston.

Family BBQ tomorrow to welcome home my nephew from Afghan so that will be great.

There is a village jubilee thingy going on Sunday afternoon so may pop along for a while if the weather forecast is wrong and it's dry. Will watch some of the jubilee stuff on the tele box too.

BBQ tonight... over 1kg of quality steak from Costco is getting devoured!
Medal tomorrow, might play a second round if weather is still good
Appeasing HID on Sunday
Fairmont St Andrews on Monday
Taking HID shopping since I am away all day Monday

Awesome!

A good friend of mine has just left for his 1st 6 month tour. It's the first time I've had anyone I'm close to out "on the front lines"...Weird feeling. Can't imagine how his family feel (although they're an army/RAF family, so probably a bit more "used to it" (if you can use that phrase))

working overtime Saturday & Tuesday :)

Monthly medal Sunday and going to do a bit of carp fishing with my dad and my eldest on Monday.
On leave wednesday so will no doubt have 18 holes with the old duffers :D

Captains day at our place on Saturday then diner and dance in the evening, hopefully on Sunday afternoon Northern soul midday till six, normal rail service Monday/Tuesday so will be working well will be going in anyway.

I am playing this evening to get some practice in ahead of tomorrows stableford comp.

That will be it in terms of full rounds, might get the odd trip to our par3 course for some short game practice on monday and tuesday.

Downside to this weekend is that I'm missing our Club Championships which is a two day affair. Bit of a shame, but I'm sure playing Bearwood will ease the pain! :D

Today I was supposed to be playing, but I went out last night, and I'm still a bit drunk now so gonna pass. See my kids tonight and tomorrow, hopefully playing golf Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Avoiding the Jubilee, if I can help it! ;)

Captain's Trophy tomorrow, then the village's week-long annual festival kicks off with a rideout through the village, so I'll take my daughter along to see the horses splashing through the river.

Nowt on Sunday :)

Family fourball (but by no means a friendly!) at Glenisla on Monday with my old man and his brothers.

Probably a bit of painting/furniture building on Tuesday.

Monthly Medal Sat morning, Betterball match playSat afternoon, social knock on Sunday, fly to Germany on Monday for 11 rounds in 7 days in Germany and Sweden.....whoop! whoop!

Work all day Saturday, revision Sunday, work all day Monday and Tuesday, exam Wednesday :(.

However from Thursday onwards, I have almost 4 months off university to play golf in and only 16 hours per week in work :D.
