as well as the kicks at goal missed touch 3 or 4 times and looked very laborious with ball in hand, amazing England think they can prosper with Wlkinson and Tindall together in the middle of the park - both far too slow for top flight rugby these days

Given that Argentina missed 7 relatively easy kicks and Wilko missed 4 on the bounce, it's probably fair to suggest that there was something unusual about the kicking conditions.

Such as??? The roof was more or less fully shut...!!!

Closed roofs can pose significant kicking problems for some reason. I'm not saying that is the cause here, but when was the last time you saw kicking stats like that between 2 quality sides?

Argentina 3 from 10
England 3 from 8

And none of the kicks were especially high tariff. Can't believe that is 3 kickers all having a crap day.

Going forward they've perhaps both lost a step but Tindall's defensive play is second to none (aside from the over persuit that left a huge hole in the line today :D) As is Wilko's for that matter. This will be needed come the knockouts.
