John Terry

he "alledgedly" (sp) called him a "insert colour here" "C". now this whole JT thing has annoyed me, the police etc obviously have had lip reading specialists analyse the video hence why its going to court. But then for whomever (the FA most likely) to step in and delay the hearing until after the Euro's is a complete joke. What does that message send out to people?? Do something fundamentally wrong, but its OK we "need you" to play in this big tournament first..

My opinion on this is this:

He needs to be in court now. i dont care if the euros are coming up, in my opinion he is not even in my starting line up! he would be lucky to make the bench! i have heard from good sources he is genuinly "not a nice bloke" he seems arrogant with it all too and believes he is above the law.. sickens me.

It was his legal team who stated that it would be unfair for the case to go to court with the domestic season reaching it's peak and then the Euros.

He's now been sacked twice from the same job!!! At least he can become a politician when he retires from football - he's got the relevant experience!!! ;)
 
Can someone please tell me why is this cretin being allowed to wait till June /July before he goes to court,kick him out of the ENGLAND squad now and let him go to court next week,if i was up in court on these charges would it have taken this long for me to be there and could i use an excuse like the garden needs looking after i'm on holiday or i'm busy at work probably not seems to be rules for rich football racist mates girlfriend knobbin pieces of slime like him and one for everybody else.
 
I'm not a John Terry fan but don't we have "innocent untill proven guilty" in this country? Personally I think he is guilty as sin but untill he goes to court and is found guilty (or innocent) I think he should remain as England captain if that is what the manager wants.
 
Dont agree on most opinions on here at all. I fully agree this should be dealt with now. Why this is bragging on its making the court system, FA and the whole England team a joke. Whoever said John Terry is not on form at the moment obviously does not watch football. Look at the last 5 Chelsea games and count the goals conceeded and the clearences made from the line by John Terry. I honestly could not pick two centre backs to start ahead of him at the moment. RIO=LOL, Phil Jones-Maybe but needs a bit more experience, No one from Liverpool or Arsenal, Spurs have Ledley King but hes always injured as is Dawson.
 
Terry is old, slow (more so than usual), distracted, and in my view, mainly responsible for Chelsea's poor form at the moment. As a gooner, long may he continue. I wouldn't pick him.
 
None of the LFC centre backs are English... (except Carra who is retired from International and not good enough anymore anyway)

Will agree on the Rio = LOL too!!

Absolutely spot on mate.The FA have a history of hypocrisy though,Shearer was another who was allowed to get away with allsorts because his country needed him.His career was littered with controversial incidents on the pitch that he was never penalised for.He was notorious for his use of the elbow,the blatant kick in the face of Lennon that he wasn't even carded for,etc etc

Ditto for scholes, can't tackle for toffee, but rarely gets a card. Refs just accept he can't tackle, and give him the benefit as he is English.
 
I think most of the England team members need a lesson in how to behave and act. We've got Rio the druggy, Wayne Rooney the granny Sha***r and cheating on wife when shes pregnant and to top it all off Ashley Cole. Im not even going to start on him or Steven 'I like to punch peoples teeth out' Gerrard

Not quite right, 3rd most carded player in Premier League history, 90 yellows and 4 reds. Most booked player ever in the Champions League 32 times.
 
The thing to ask yourselves is this .......what would some of these lowlifes be doing had they not been blessed with footballing talent ?
I'd love to know the I.Q of players like Cole,Ferdinand,Terry etc

That's another point, I don't agree with taking him to the euros either, not available for 2 games, we might be knocked out by then! Take who is fit, in form and available to play... What's hard about that?

In fact, move over fabio, rooter will take over as manager!
 
Terry is awful at international level. He was the main culprit when Chelsea were going on a bad run, he is too slow and gets found out far too easily. Could easily put in there Cahill, Jagielka, Smalling, Jones, Rio, Lescott. Theres 6 that would do a better job. Remember Jagielka and Lescott kept out Spain not many months ago. He is gone and I hope Fabio doesnt pick him, he doesn't deserve it to be quite honest. Not just because of this but to what he done to Wayne Bridge his so called best mate, I wouldnt want him near my team if I was a player as you could never trust him.

Just remember Rio was never charged for drugs, he was charged for missing a drugs test so to say he is a druggie is abit out of order when he was proved innocent. I will be surprised if hes picked for euros as well because he has gone downhill as a player and I dont think he could give it his all after having the captaincy given away last time.
 
I may be wrong, but I thought that the trial was delayed til after the Euro's due to the fact that the prosecution and defence agreed that it would be almost impossible to arrange for the witnesses to be in court at the required times during the regular season and the Euro's. The FA was hoping that the case would be heard earlier so that they would not have to make the difficult decision of removing John Terry from the Captains position (again).
 
You don't get pinged til the 3rd missed test, so yes, rio was never found guilty, but heck, you say you will be some where for one hour everyday, and then you aren't there. In his case, it was at training. So where was he? Shopping. Why wasn't he training? Why didn't the training team guys keep him at training for that specific hour, every day after the first two missed tests?

Makes you wonder?
