Animosity perhaps, or maybe antipathy, or even odium ??
I'am not really reading anything into anything, just interested in human nature, and our ability to dislike individuals for no apparent or obvious reason.

Miguel is my favourite golfer. He is such a great personality.
He was so down to earth and smiley when I was a marshal at the Muirfield Open.
Others like J Rose could learn a lot from him!

MAJ seems like a fun likeable fellow but maybe that's cos he's not a contender at the highest level, has an 'image' to get media attention and £££. Several obscure European tour wins but never c!ose in WGC or majors. Think he'll do okay in seniors but does anyone care? Masters not in a million years, long course for big hitters and serious golfers.

because he was cold with the watching public and treated his caddy poorly on the tee when I was there. Just my opinion of course.
Miguel was friendly to the public, bidding them all good day etc.

Think he is a great player, and he has won enough to warrant this .For me, contending at the highest level is winning on the european tour..Albeit the majors are what great golfers seem to be measured by....Loved playing his home course Torrequebrada.Maybe not gonna be a major winner now, but he is still giving a lot of the young pretenders a run for their money on tour.

heres an interesting fact about Miguel, since turning 40 he has won more European tour events than Rory or Sergio in their whole career (so far). Respect.
I think that Jimenez has more chance of winning the Masters than Woods!
