was working in it this morning pulling in cable and cleating round a block of flats... very wobbly and absolutely drenched... was not a happy bunny. About 5 mins after I finished the bloody rain stopped and blue sky appeared! Damn you British weather

Just got our electricity back ! Fortunately had a log fire going as it is a bit nippy out. Disadvantage of living on the top of a hill when it blows, but at least we will not be flooded with all the rain. My daughter cleaned her car yesterday and forgot to put the windscreen wipers down. The one on the back didn't survive the night.:(

Sorry for our Scottish friends as you've taken a bit of a pasting in some areas with the snow before Christmas and the wind and rain last night and today. I hope anyone that has suffered damage gets paid out on the insurance without too many hassles and that the weather sorts itself out. Pretty wild down here this morning too and travelling in a monsoon on the motorway with gale force side winds was "interesting" but nothing I imagine to the journey to work for many up north

Struth, lost the shed. I hope your armchair, steam radio, Kettle, mug and 'Big and Bouncy' mags are still there mate. I mean what's a shed there for after all.

At work today and it was non stop, buildings in a dangerous condition, slates off of roofs, trees down everywhere. Wait for it, a bus shelter ripped out of the ground! Concrete foundations and tarmac ripped right out of the ground. In Morrison's they lost they're trolly shelters, again ripped and twisted out of the ground.

Absolute carnage.

And my chopper was cancelled so stuck offshore grrrr,

Is it me or has 2011 and into 2012 been exceptionally windy,I can't remember playing once in calm conditions.
