I've fallen in love with a training shoe!

I was at the range last night and happened to pick up a Nike Vr Forged Split Cavity and I kept going back for another fondle and look, so much so I had a sales assistant come up to me and ask if I would like to try them!!!!

They do look the business, not only that I went home and google'd them only to see this

And yip, I've been looking again this morning!

And the reason for last nights trip to the range was to try out drivers, and I really liked the Nike Vr Str8-Fit Tour driver!

I've never tried the Nike irons, but my DymoSQ driver, although not the best looking, does a fine job.

That said....I'm going to look into getting a custom fitted new'un for my birthday in April

Your going from one extreme to the other there mate ,Nike a young mans club from Ping an oap club , get in there nice clubs and the driver looks top notch.

Did you have a hit with the driver?

Is that the set where the 8-PW are blades. Seen them and they do look a think of beauty and even I as another Nike sceptic think they are one of the best sets they've produced. Not tried them and have no intention of doing so but they do look nice at address when you take one off the shelf

Had 3 or 4 sets of the Pro Combos.....great looking down on the ball and much easier hitting the long irons, whilst still getting the feel at the shorter end....

Craw, just found out my club has gone big into Nike for 2011 and like you I've seen the pro combo and Defo one sexy set of sticks, but to be fair today my and the burners got re-aquainted to my purple patch form of July and if that carries on their be staying put.

I was actually expecting to see some kind of swing training shoe being discussed..LMAO...I was thinking that Homer may have had it in his vast collection

I just cant seem to come around to Nike being a dominant brand in Golf.....Even with having a man of TW on there staff im not sure did it do as much as they would have expected for club sales.....

I actually think that its one of the best decisions if made golf wise....
If the 3 wood and hybrid are anything to go by then ill love my Irons...
As it stands im still waiting on them its looking like the 1st week of January now....

Always get drawn to the Nke stuff and the blades are very very nice looking clubs. BUT as I wear my cap the correct way I will stick with titleist

Had Nike drive last year and it was lright but had to major flaws, the headcover was rubbish and it made a ridiculous loud, high pitch mosur of the face
