Its a funny old game!!!!

Played a team match yesterday and played nicely, managed to mug the guy on the last and won my game 1 up. It was a game I was never once up in until the last green. I played pretty well and was only +3 off of the back tees for 18 holes.

This morning I had my summer singles tie and was quite confident after yesterdays performance. I was shaking hands on the 13th green after a 6&5 hammering! Driver was a very bad boy today and I was in danger of running out of balls!

Practice area tomorrow I guess. Still, its only a game. Just a very very very very very very very frustrating game!

I feel your pain Craw, had a similar story a couple of weeks back. Yesterday I managed to do my best Jekyll and Hyde over 18 in the June medal with +3 out and +9 coming home.
But despite that frustration, we WILL keep coming back for more, no questions asked! It's not just frustrating, it's addictive.

I swear this game will put me in an early grave! Yet within an hour or so of finishing a pants round I'm working out when I can next get to the range or course or swinging a club in the garden (or house!) and back on the merry go round...(make that a roller coaster)!

Not really, probably just quick and frustrated today. I'll go and "explore" tomorrow, it shouldn't be that difficult to sort out, just need to bring the club face back to the ball square.

You think thats bad. Not back to playing full rounds yet after injury's. Taking it slow and easy. Don't want to have to give the game up again.

Anyway Sunday evening, played 9 holes. Played a blinder 3 under for nine. Go this morning all full of it shoot 9 over. Go figure. Apart from the swing getting a bit quick, nothing really changed. Normally I would shoot 3/4 over for 9. Are well guess thats what keeps us coming back!!!!!
