Difficult one. This guy seems to have a genuine medical condition, which has often been cited on the forum as the only justification for buggies. Unfortunately I think it is a case that the floodgates are now open.
That he's now going to ask for sponsors exemptions to play on a tour for which his golf doesn't qualify him is another issue entirely.

I do think it has set a difficult precedent but he has always seemed to be open and upfront about the condition. I happen to think that he isn't the greatest of golfers anyway and so once he has used sponsor invites he'll be back at Q school and off the tour anyway. What he does on the Nationwide doesn't interest me
