Very unlucky sir, not a nice thing to happen but one would hope that GM forum users would be very carful who they buy from, we are pretty clued in. Sorry to be an ass.

The fakers know that if they make things "too" cheep they will seem fake before the money has changed hands. Just cheep enough to turn your head away from well known stockists is there game.

I would be looking for a refund and once you get the cash back in yopur possesion name and shame and put a buyer review up. Even if it is Jap spec and bearing in mind the originals are made in the Far East anyway there is no excuse for the poor finish and I'm certain they wouldn't get through any sort of QC checks
