I hit part of a tree root out on the course and the club has now bent. I had someone at a local golf shop look at it and they said the head itself is bent. ( he just briefly looked at it ) and bending it is not possible because its a cast and would likely crack. To my untrained eye it looks like the shaft has shifted more than the head itself being bent. Any advice on this because at address the club looks way off ?

thanks!

Looking at the photo looks more like the shaft has bent where it inserts in to the hosel to me.

The only way to be sure is to remove the shaft from the head or at minimum slide the ferrule up the shaft.

Different views from different pros about whether or not a cast hosel can be be bent.

Ping clubs are cast, and they can be adjusted for lie.
