Is my 8-Iron illegal?? Pls Help!!

Pretty sure my old man has the same club as this, If not its very similar.

I wondered why he used to carry two 8 irons untill i realised one was atleast 50*

Has the same grooves aswell

I did have a couple of oldies similar to this one, I cannot see why an old golf club like this is illegal though perhaps the wear on this one could make it so as regard contact with the ball but not the original design. If it is a design thing that makes it illegal today then they should remove a lot of great scores by the old days golfers who have their names up on boards in some of the most noted clubs in the world.

The niblick is an old iron between a 9 iron and wedge I believe I wonder if this falls into similar catagory?
