But it’s a racist joke and in his position he’s been an absolute idiot. Make the joke in person to your mates, not on Twitter.
 
No he isn't. But if you go and ask him nicely he'll describe some real racism to you that he experienced first hand.....

Radio this morning had several jingles of spoof Russian Accents and an advert with a spoof American one. No probs... if the spoof accents had been Jamaican or Indian... WW3 would be breaking out.

Get a grip eh?

What he said. Stupid lack of judgement by him compounded by the fact he initially didn't really own his mistake. But he has now and I'm sure in the future he'll learn to count to 10 before tweeting stereotypes based on race.

It's a good job that programe "The Comedians" isn't still going. The comedians would be stood in front of the cameras going "er....er...er....er....er".
 
I don't think there was any rascist intent. Let's be honest, we have all been on holiday and seen loads of people doing exactly what was portrayed in the picture.

While I personally wouldn't get upset over it, I can see why some people are saying it's racist. I can also see the humour in it, though I didn't laugh out loud when I saw it.

He's a smart fella. He should have been smart enough not to have posted this in the public domain in the first place. Gags like that are best kept private in this day and age.

Completely agree.

Are we not allowed to say that people look alike anymore in case someone deems it as racist? Could this work in reverse with white people or is it racist because they're black and automatically its deemed that "all black people look a like". ?

IMO finding racism in things like this says a lot more about the people that find it racist, than the person making the point.

I've had the picture sent to me via social media and I actually had a chuckle at it. Whenever I've been to Spain and on the beach I've always had the African guys selling their wares come up. I've even bought a few watches off them in the past!

Wonder what the reaction would've been if he'd sent round a picture of the German team and a load of towels on sunbeds?
