The threat from the Russian hacker is a mega media hype IMO, he's managed to catch out some people and rake in a load of cash but in the grand scale of things your chances of being a victim is a very low percentage, at the minute the virus has infected circa 15000 computers in the uk, that's less than 0.1% of computers in the country.
Remember all the media frenzy about the millenium bug???
No account will ever be 100% safe but Internet banking is as safe as any IMO.
