Hi,
I am saving up for some irons at the moment and was wondering what people had at home that they may want to part with ? not looking at spending fortune./ don't care about brand name as I can slice a £300 set of irons just as well as a £100 set.

I play off 20 at the moment, I am not consistent when it comes to striking the ball but it is getting better. I think its time to update my car boot set that has various makes and models in it. I am looking at a few sets on ebay , but thought I would also see what you had hidden away.

Cheers

Midnight.

I have a lovely set of Mizuno forged MX25's 3-pw complete with regular KBS Tour shafts brand new and Lamkin grips also brand new. A really nice set of irons in really good condition.
I'm looking for no less than £150 plus p&p.
The shafts cost £200
I think they are a bargain.

I have a set of forged Bridgestone professional weapons I was going to put in the for sale section soon. Lovely soft irons with a cavity/muscle back for the mid handicapper. Not too big or small, forgiving and a nice topline, I put these side by side with my playing partners Mizuno jpx800 pros and they look identical in shape from the top and bottom. I have brought my handicap down from 22 to 9 in 18 months with these and just treated myself to a set of mp-53's, three weeks with the mizunos and not noticing any improvement over the bridgestones! The set is 3-pw and comes with a Bridgestone 56 degree sand wedge similiar to a Vokey. I will be looking for £90 for the lot.

Callaway irons (X16, x18 etc are very cheap these days and excellent for getting the ball airbourne, even in the rough) and a couple of decent wedges.
