Iron shortlist - any thoughts?

Getting fed up of my old Ping G10s. Shortlisting some replacements. I play off 13 on a linksy course and tend to hit a reasonably good contact with my irons but the short game lets me down! Any thoughts on the following list of bad boys? Anything to add?

I play off the same figure and love my R11's. A step back from the 2008 TM TP's I was using but worth it in terms of better ball striking and control

Please forgive my bluntness, but how are new irons going to help your short game issues?

i would imagine its confidence thing, also the grooves might be all worn down impacting shot performance

Any of the Mizuno MP range. Either full blade or "pocket cavity" give superb feel and with the pocket cavity you get decent forgiveness.

These are all super irons, dont know so much about the others on your list.

Might be worth having a play with the Mizuno MP-53 if your looking at the JPX800 Pro, very little difference and one being prettier than the other.

I would think the I20 are going to be hard to overlook for you as a Ping guy, for Ping irons they are lovely!

I use the JPX-800 pros. I love them to pieces. Lovely feel and confidence inspiring. My next set of irons (in a could of years probably) will be part of the MP range, but the JPX's are lovely.

I have teh JPX pros and love them. I have previously had Mizuno MP blades and the JPX really do feel almost as good.

When I got the JPX I also tried the i20's and Razr's. The i20's were very very close to going in the bag, but the Mizuno's just edged it for me.

Update - tried them all except the Wilsons at American Golf today. Big fan of the MCs!
