Well we're not long back from our annual tour of the Emerald Isle and we had another fantastic trip. Firstly we played Dingle Links or Ceann Sibeal as its called down there ,this was a good starting point as its a very fair and playable course to start of with ,the course was in superb condition with the greens running very true.

Saturday we played Tralee (Arnold Palmer Design ) and what an absolutely fantastic course this is, the scenery was fantastic . We happend to meet Shane Lowry who happend to be playing at the turn as we were going out a cracking lad who said was -5 for the front 9. This course was immaculate and the holes on the back 9 were spectacular.

Sunday we played Dooks this has to be the friendliest club I've ever played from the lad in the pro shop to the lads behind the bar to the members we met all very welcoming. The course was again in great condition with the greens looking and putting very true. I'd play this again no problem.

Monday when we woke up it was hammering down with rain so the drive to Waterville Links had us disappointed as this was the course we were looking forward to the most, the setting for this course is superb with all the history in the clubhouse was great to see ,unfortunately we only managed 6 holes as the rain was brutal even Galvin Greens couldn't handle it we were soaked to the skin and 30-40 mph wind made for horrific conditions.

We stayed in Killarney which is a fantastic base for playing these courses and great for a good night out , we camped ourselves in Murphys Bar for the Ryder Cup has it had the best telly and Guinness for watching it.
