iPing APP - Cradle is worth the dough?

Slicer79 - I felt the same, but it definetely sits more solid in the cradle.

When I was using elastic bands and what not the extra weight was more noticeable

My iPing cradle arrived this week, so I took it out at lunch for a quick putt yesterday.

Although the cradle was great, the app itself didn't quite live up to expectations.

There were a lot of things going on, and a lot of numbers being thrown about, but nowhere did I see a 'do this to improve' or 'that is incorrect'.

I'm due to read up on the app online to understand some more of the stats, but from those who already use it, how does it work? What am I looking for?

Dufferman - agreed its not going to tell you to how to fix your stroke.
I use the compare option to compare my session to that of angel Cabrera - never close, but it gives you an idea of what the pro's are achieving.

also - if you tap the ? beside each of the stats it will give you some info on what you should be looking for and how the scoring works.

e.g a closed face is not a bad thing if you repeat it every time, whereas if you have 2 open face and 3 closed in one session then it points to inconsistent impact.

One of the good things I have found - is that when I combine with Rotella's putting guides it does show improved consistency -ie just focus on your target and forget about impact angle/tempo etc.

If I try to get a good score- I get a bad one. when I just focus on hitting the target I get a good score.

So wats the verdict on the cradle??

Worth the money for it or just a novelty??

I'm on the fence about getting one, I've read a few reviews on they today and some good some bad.

I could really do with improving my putting. I'd be breaking 90 soon if I could just sort out the 3 puts everything else is doing ok just the putting letting me down.

So wats ur thoughts now you guys have had it a bit of time??

I have a spare otterbox reflex case so I'm going to glue a vice clamp to the back. I won't pay £25 for a case I will use once in a while.
