Eyup, it's my daughters birthday soon and she's been banging on about getting her battered Iphone replaced for some time now.
I notice there's a new one out next week, so is it worth the extra instead of the Iphone 6?
Just another quick one, there's an Iphone 6 and 6s as far as I can gather, that's the main differences?

PS
Go Samsung :D

there's also an iphone 6SE - which is the same size as the 5 and fits in the pocket easier. It came out in March this year. I have one and it is really good

iphone 7 has a faster processor, better screen and camera and is now water resistant. (also no headphone jack now! Must use bluetooth or a an adaptor which means you cant charge it at the same time)

I have a 6 and i am not upgrading. The iphone 6 and 6s is not a huge difference, 6s is very slightly larger, heavier (yet stronger, the 6 can bend)

Is the iphone SE an option? same chassis as the 5 but with the 6S kind of tech. much cheaper!

Me, i would go for a 6 or 6S. Iphone 7 on contract at 50 odd quid a month, they still want 150 quid up front. Is she contract or PAYG??

I've got the 6S currently and it's a great phone, had it just under a year and no problems at all.

I'm probably not going to bother with the 7 as it really doesn't look all that great!
The jump from the 5 to 6 was huge but this one doesn't seem all that good.

The idea to drop having a headphone jack is just ludicrous and another way for them to make money (like they need it).

If I were you i'd go for the 6 or 6S for your daughter, i'm sure you'll find some great deals knocking around at the moment.

It would be on a contract, I don't think she'll want the SE model.
She said last week she wasn't keen on the bluetooth headphone malarky with the 7 and was hinting at the 6 or 6S (can't remember which), but you know what it's like once new toys are released.

I've got the 6s, had the 6 before that, was/is happy with both phones and I run a business or 2 from them as well as all my personal stuff, no need to upgrade or look at anything different for a while.

I have a 4s - and don't suffer from FOMO.

In fact I don't actually have a 4s - it's my work phone - I myself don't own a mobile phone of any shape or form - I just use my work one.
