Handy little app that works out how many shot you get in a match. It's called "Shot Difference Calculator' in the apple app store.

Not a spam mate. Most apps are just handy to have that's all. Saves me rummaging round in my bag looking for the dirty bit of card the chart used to be printed on.

Cannot believe you would think of getting a App for this,You have a brain in your head, Use that ffs!!!!!!...

I hope that wasn't aimed at me? If it was you'll notice I was questioning the need for it, I was just stunned someone would pay for it

Whilst I accept that you are a mathamatical wizard, not everyone is!!
I remember a darts player playing at the Lakeside Finals relying on his opposition to assist him in the calculations to get to his double!!
This app could give maths challenged folk peace of mind as they strut onto the first tee with a "Five strokes,it is, Sir, I believe!"
Could still be a selling post!

I really do wonder nowadays the sorts of things people have to reach for a calculator to work out :( :(

When I try to help my daughter with her homework I have to google the latest dumbass method of teaching to find out how they're trying to teach now.

In my day it was doing sums and reciting times tables for hours at a time, and it seemed to work fine for me and all my mates.

Now you 'write a number sentence' ffs!!

Guys guys guys. It's only an app! Apps aren't there to replace your brain. It's just a gadget. Is there any need for electronic range finders? There's a 150 marker and golfers have coped without for hundreds of years....it's JUST a gadget!!!! Chill out!

I dont pretend to be any sort of mathmatics expert, but anybody can work out the difference in h/cap allowances without having to resort to a bloody i phone......

But if it gives handicap allowances for all types of competition play, I can see it would have its uses?
OK matchplay is fairly easy to work out. But Texas scrambles, foursomes, greensomes, gruesomes blah blah blah! They can be a bit more tricky.
Chill
;)
