Hi

Just a quick post to introduce myself to everyone here. I play in Wrexham, North Wales having taken up this wonderful game 3 years ago (21 hcp) after hanging up my rugby boots after 25 years of playing. Please excuse any errors as this is the first online forum I've joined.

I'm a big Ping fan and am now affectionately known by my mates as "Mr all the gear but no idea!" as I'm a marketing mans dream.

Welcome to the forum. Your background and introduction to the game sound similar to mine, gave up rugby due to a shoulder injury after 27 years and found that golf more than filled the competitive gap.

Thanks Guys.. ok here i go.

I'm a member of Wrexham golf club which is just down the road from me and a really great course. As I said earlier I'm a big fan of Ping and use the following, not all in the bag at once before I'm challenged, lol.

Ping G10 9* (draw)
Ping G10 3 wood (draw)
Taylor Made dual TP No's 2 & 3 rescues
Ping G10 - 2 thru PW, LW, SW
Ping Redwood Piper

I tried the Ping G10 rescues but they didn't suit me. I've also got an old Spalding TPM 17 putter I found in a second hand shop that's beautiful and I sometimes swap with the Ping.
