Insufficient privileges?

I was wanting to reply to something in the for sale section, I know I can just private message the person but was wondering why I’m seeing the insufficient privileges and I can’t reply is that part of the forum behind a pay wall or something else ?

Basically you need to have been on here for a certain amount of time and made a certain number of posts before you can participate on the for sale section.

One presumes those rules are for any posts not just the seller posting an item

Probably part of scam avoidance.
