In the Rough..

Having spent a fair amount of time in the rough at my new club thanks to my game going South I got wondering why it is that I can find no-end of other peoples balls in the area where mine is but hardly ever actually find mine?

I've been picking up Top-Flites and Molitors and Pinnacles even the odd NXT Tour and a couple of ProVs but hardly ever mine.........

Getting more than a bit miffed by this - and I know the answer is to not go in there - I'm working on it!!

I found one of my own balls the other week in some dense rough, one that I had hit a few weeks earlier. Quite chuffed.

Had the same myself a lot lately. A few times, when playing with three others, if one of us hits it into the rough, we all go in there to look for it, and we all invariably find one or two balls each, but not the one we *want* to find. And a lot of the balls I've been playing with lately have been Pro V1s or Nike Ones that I've found. (I lost my lovely found Pro V1x though! )

last week at my new course on the 6th, i went in the rough looking for my ball and came out with a pro v1x, then did the same thing on the 15th, both occasions i found my balls. lol

I just throw the bricks back in or sometimes jam them in a tree or put them somewhere that would make people think 'how the heck did that ball get there'
