I walk twice a day. From 5-9 miles in the morning and then another hour in the afternoon. I have a treadmill, so technically I'd never have to leave the house at all. I use the treadmill quite a bit, my afternoon walk is usually on the treadmill (30-45 min) since I can crank up the angle and walk uphill the whole time to get my heart rate up. Find it a bit strange that I can go out and walk once (and I guess get only a few people sick) but walking twice is just too much disease spreading.

Psssst......when I'm on the green and I mark my ball....when I put it back, if it rolls into a tiny depression I move it about 1/4" to one side instead of taking out my repair tool and spend time fluffing up where the ball was marked. I'm a bad boy......

Walking is only a recommendation isn’t it.?

But 1/4 “ is shocking and you should be ashamed of yourself.
But is it against the rules?
If your ball won’t stay still you have to put it in the nearest spot that it will.
It’s not mandatory to fluff up so it will stay still.
Might be wrong but that’s how I thought it was.

I am absolute crap with the rules....my memory has always been bad. I thought if you moved it off the spot you marked it.....cheating. Not quite up to the high quality moving of the ball sideways which Lexi Thompson did a few years ago, but even I have some standards. I've been known to scuff the sand in a bunker with my foot to find out whether the sand is only a millimeter deep or a few inches. Oh.....I'm gonna burn in Hades.

I once trained with a guy who was an ex para, in great shape and introduced me to kettle bells so I owe him a lot! He did jog, but not that often he said get in 10k steps a day and get under the bar/bell.

Exercising

You should minimise time spent outside your home, but you can leave your home to exercise. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

Yep, says should. But again....will lots of people (me included) go outside for 2....even 3 walks? Yes. There are some here that think the people who break the rules are a small minority. I'll stick with my estimate that it's over 50% that are breaking/bending the rules regularly.

Different subject......I spent 2 years in Newbury back in the 80's......I should have stayed until the base shut.....it was a nice area to live.

Wasn't a trap or a dig etc! Should isn't must. I walk the dog twice and go for a run once per day minimum. I'm lucky I live on the edge of town and never see many people,

Law vs guidance is another matter. And think when I looked at it, it was guidance rather than law.

Should be limited to once per day means once per day every day of the week.

It’s a guideline and with having a dog fill your boots as you have Animal welfare on your side. No rule breaking to see here!

*edit, I am walking and trespassing as everywhere is inundated with people. So I am breaking a law I think. It’s a charities land so will make a donation and a enclose letter of thanks for their use of property which they know nothing about. I think of myself and my dogs as voluntary security while it’s closed.

You can shuffle your feet into the sand to test the depth while setting up for your shot but not before.
This sounds like a quiz.

Yes, you can shuffle your feet to take a stance, and this may give you an indication of the depth of sand under your feet.

You can't shuffle your feet in order to test the depth.

Big difference.
Not disagreeing.....but if I stub my toe while in the sand trap....it's not a rule that is enforceable.
