• Thank you all very much for sharing your time with us in 2025. We hope you all have a safe and happy 2026!

If you won the lottery?

I'd follow the golf all over the world staying in the swankiest hotels. I'd play all the wednesday pro-ams making sure a couple of my good mates made the 4 ball up ;)

Give some to family - no chance

Give some to charites - of course , most of it probs over the years.

now my children are grown up I would buy both of them a house and give them £250k each, pay my sisters mortgage and give her £250k, treat my parents to a year long round the world trip (about £750k), then sell up and move to Australia, preferably the Gold Coast where I can spend my time on the golf cousre and on the beach.

The wife would take her share to do what she wants with, and most probably leave, she only married me for my money, luckily I never told her just how little I have. :p

Would give about £5million of it away to family, friends and charity, reckon about an average of £100K each.

Another couple of million treating myself to cars, houses around the world and memberships at Turnberry and Pebble Beach.

Stick the rest in the bank and live off the interest - seemples!

Nearly forgot, I would invest a bit in my local club. However much it would take for them to let me bulldoze and rebuild the 9th hole - I feckin hate the thing!

I would sell up, move to France, join Les Bordes then buy and sell top-end Japanese forged and tour van clubs ;) :p

I would give 5 million to family and friends.
Buy a small franchise business Orlando for 1 million. (to secure visa)
Buy 5 flats for 1 million in Southampton to rent out.
Spend 1 million on a house in Scottsdale, Arizona on gated golf community.
Spend 1 million on a house in Florida on gated golf community.
Stick 5 million in safe Government bonds with the interest put back in to buy more bonds.
Keep 1 million in several banks to cover any extra costs for the above and my first few years living expenses.

Sadly the most I've ever got is 4 numbers on the lotto.

mmmm thats easy, hookers coke and i suppose golf! sorry i relapsed there. i would buy a house down at turnberry, join turnberry and play turnberry every day. heh life is good.
