Either my holiday's been rained off or
I've found wi-fi in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Lining up Nefyn, Anglesey and Royal St David's with my 6 clubs, pencil bag and 8 DX2s.

Don't tell the missus, they're hidden under the dogs bed in the boot. :D

Play well this weekend everyone, I hear Saturday's not great but Sunday's perfick golf weather.

Now, where's my dragon headcover?... :o :D

Nos da, Mae fy hofrenfad yn llawn llyswennod.

Enjoy, Dave.

Bizarrely, never played golf in Wales yet in spite of the great courses on offer. And it has the disadvantage that I'd have to drive through England to get there. It's a bit wild there just now so I'll give it a miss. Some friends and I are thinking of repairing the wall.

Have a goody.

I didnt manage to smuggle my clubs as there was no room at all in the car when I went down there a few weeks back, so I am very jealous. Hope you have fun.

Only played golf once - in Chepstow and we all know how that went ao I recommend it.

I'm jealous of everyone out playing this weekend. Been laid low with a stomach bug and so have read all the latest golf mags while in the smallest room or lying in bed. Not sure if I'm more gutted about not playing or the fact that I'm ill on a weekend and not a work day

Have a good one RG. Will your missus be caddying for you or do you have to sneak out before she wakes up?

I really should play in Wales, I've been offered the use of a flat in Swansea. I'm guessing there must be some nice courses near there.

Gods speed isn't quite how I'd describe the journey! Anyway, settled in, played a p&putt with junior just to justify bringing clubs. Onto real course tomorrow. Found some "cloud" at the pub so checking in. P
Puppy tried swimming in the sea, prob drunk too much salt water. Ok overall- good course 10 minute walk. Happy days

Take more than 8 balls fella, off 11.

Nefyn - very, very windy but well worth the trip, especially the holes on the peninsula. Play the old course option, if not your a pussy.

Prediction - 4 balls lost (3 over the cliffs, one in the rough).

St. Davids, reasonably flat, but can also be windy, but more sheltered than Nefyn. Lovely views of Harlech castle on the hill overlooking.

Prediction 3 balls lost. 1 on the 15th, one on the 17th, take you pick from there.

Good luck, BTW I was off 9 at the time and lost about 8 balls at Nefyn, 2-3 at St davids.

Nefyn is amazing mY mate has membership as he has a cottage there, they use a picture of a couple of holes for the golf in Wales advert. Hope you enjoy it!
