I don’t know who I would vote for at present, but where I live is a super safe seat for the tories so it doesn’t matter who I vote for as Nadine Dorries will still get elected. Wether she goes off on a reality TV show in Australia whilst parliament is sitting or not she still is as safe as houses.

Not that I can vote in a UK election anymore but for the first time since forever I wouldn't vote. My old fallback position, if Labour and the Tories were going through one of their stupid periods, was the Liberals, latterly the libDems, but there isn't a good party in Parliament at present for me.

This is where I think we as a country are going wrong

We should move to a two party system. Too much choice watering down the ability to make change

Our govs normally plan for 5 years so never commit to a plan . China has a 100 year economical plan. The goal post change every 5 years here and it’s damanging us

Flippin Eck.

Where to start. This has all come about because of the balls up that is Brexit.

So Labour hmmm. labour had a chance to govern when TM called an election to strengthen her hand in the Brexit deal. That never happend, but neither did Labour get into power. Why? Coz the British people know that quite frankly J Corbyn and pals are as thick as pig ***. Would the negotiations have gone any better if Labour had been involved. Not a cat in hells chance.
So Conservative hmmmm. Quite frankly TM has screwed up from day one picking up the turd that David Carperon dropped. Out means out. Not well we still have some links to Europe. She asked vegetarians to cook a burger. Remainers to negotiate for Brexit.

So obviously it means looking further afield.
No, UKIP are unrecognisable, the ideology was there, but it's gone tits up.
liberal, they royally screwed up when Clegg was in last time. So that's not an option.
Scottish party, thank food I love south of the border.

The choice between Clinton and Trump is looking a lot easier. Than what the voters of the U.K. Have.

Bottom line, I don't know.

Communists or Fascists it must be then?

edit: I'd spoil my paper as I'm fed up with main stream parties full of liars

sorry not getting the hang of this posting lark.

i meant i wouldn't ever vote Tory.

I'm labour supporter, or Socialist if there was a candidate

Given that, in my electorate, it matters not a jot how I would vote as the Conservative majority is over 18000! That's down from the over 22000 majority of 2015.

Brexit apparent shenanigans would not change my voting decision, which will be an 'on the day' one.

Interested to read about people spoiling papers, I appreciate it makes a point but would anyone notice? Never done that - do you write something funny, draw something rude or just put an X outside any of the boxes?;)

Re the bit in bold Tashy me man, facts from the last GE don’t really support your point.

Labour made a net gain of 30 seats with 40.0% (its highest share since 2001 and the first time the party gained seats since 1997).

Corbyn increased Labour's share of the vote by more than any other of the party's election leaders since 1945.
Labour's proportion of the vote grew 9.6 per cent the biggest swing since Clement Attlee shortly after the Second World War.

I dread the thought of Corbyn and Co in Government and the damage it would inflict on the country, just look to his shining example of how a coutry should be run 'Venezuela' 🤣 I would normally vote Conservative but not sure that I could support the current crop unless a much better leader and potential cabinet could be produced, I am liking Liddington at the moment. Would vote for another party if I could see one emerging that put coutry before self. So currently None of the above.

Live in a tory stronghold and don't see that changing at the next election. If you remove the elephant in the room that is Brexit, I don't really have too much of a personal gripe about the Conservative performance and for me it represents a far more palatable option than a Labour or hung parliament

I shall vote for the party who are currently the 3rd largest at Wastemonster and according to the polls will increase their MP's by about 20%.
By some error they have been omitted from the GM poll, whilst the 4th largest are included.;)

I did it at the last election, first time ever. I'm in a safe seat, absolute muppet mp. I drew a sad face smillie in each of the options boxes. I thought at least it would make the counter smile a little.

Spoiled papers are counted so particularly in a safe seat it notes your objection without giving credibility to the others standing if you don't agree with them either. It is the equivalent of ticking a none of the above box. Not satisfactory but what else to do when none of those standing float your boat?
