I played like a numpty but we won the match !!

Well what a day. Match was halved and our star player got a birdie on the 2nd extra hole for the win.

I played rubbish and lost!! Actually I don't think I have ever struck the ball so cleanly and so far and so wonky! My stock bad shot is either a bit fat or a bit off the toe so I just lose distance, but every shot was clean off the middle of the bat, went like a rocket, and then it was usually a trip to the adjacent fairway or trees. Irons were fine but driver, woods and hybrid were very unpredictable. If it had just been pulling it all left I'd have adjusted but the occasional one was shoved right just to make me wonder and doubt...I admit to kicking my trolley and myself but that didn't work either (I missed both )...

My opponent however scared the worms on every hole and it felt like on every shot but did that in a straight line. I did get some pleasure from the occasional glorious wedge to the pin but that was following her scuffed effort which ended up in exactly the same situation.

Oh well - winter league tomorrow and will be back on track (hopefully) !!

It was singles so nobody to lean on (or blame)!! Although HID did caddy so.........

Yes team won

Too strong I think. Did think about changing it a tad on the course but in the end aimed right side and hit it straight!
