I need more distance on my drives

Think I have solved it guys, tried all that was said earlier and they helped. Then i read an article about Tee it high let it fly, so teed the ball up on my highest tees and the results were amazing. Getting a lovely shape on the ball flight and carrying 240-250 now. Thanks for your help guys.

Well done Rich.

Although I await your next thread titled "Why has it all gone wrong again?" or similar
;)

I try to stick to kit made by people who make golf stuff as their main line of business. Dunlop make excellent tyres and Wilson make wonderful tennis rackets. I wonder whether they can put the resources into the R&D of golf clubs / balls when they're busy doing other stuff?

wilson DO, there current balls dx2 dx3 fgtours are great balls, there irons are getting there plus they were the first to manufacture a wedge. plus they have an excellent fitting centre (so im told) in Ayrshire

Dunlop were bought by Sports Direct who have a habit of buying established brands that they can then attach to some cheap equipment to give it some sort of appeal. You're really just buying a Sports Direct driver which might explain why it doesn't go as far as the main brands.

Harrington and Wilson blows your argument out the water.

Ill have to try and invest in a named Driver then and my results should be incredible. I have been trying the things i mentioned above and the results are amazing. Without wanting to brag too much im hitting 250-260 eaasy now and would love a go with a DECENT driver.

I usually see short drivers who swing the driver up and down like a wedge, with no or little body turn. They are apparently "trying to keep it straight".

I swing mine more round my body, get width an come at it from the inside. If I loose my hands I can roll them over and get a hook but with practice I stopped doing that. I was a 15 handicapper last year booming out drives and hitting a lot of fairways! Was not long till I got down to 12!
