My advice is get good, get fitted, and then stick with what you've got, for as long as they are the correct clubs.
I take regular lessons every month or so, visit the range at least once a week and my game is coming on leaps and bounds.
I did play of 13 / 14 unofficially a few years back but crocked my back and my game suffered for it.
Yes my HC is 20, but my last two round have been in the low 80's on the back of breaking 90 half a dozen times. Trouble is this was all in bounce games and no comps, hence the 20 figure.
I get you general point and i don't disagree per say, but like i said before, golf is my hobby. Its not just about getting better. Its about enjoying myself. If this means i tinker with my shaft........
Then so be it
