and it was great, I learnt a lot, and it was inspiring to watch how good he really is, but he did have several suggestions to improve my game, and pointed out which areas need work and which areas are world class. Apparently I can push a golf trolley to a semi pro standard and I could possibly represent Great Britain at the London Olympics if placing a golf ball on a wooden tee is accepted as an Olympic event.

He lied Bob, I kept dropping the flag. I didnt beat him on any holes although I did par 3 holes, which I was really pleased with.

Been considering this myself, we have had a few lessons on the course in bunkers , on greens etc but a 9 hole / 18 hole round with tips may be what I need to get my head round some stuff now.

I would highly recommend it Hickory, I really found it very useful and worth every penny. I am already planning to have another, my confidence improved just from the positive coaching Alan gave me before certain shots that would normally cause me problems.

i've got my first one next week.
concentrating on looking forward to it rather than getting nervous at the moment - feel a bit wary that i'll feel too 'under the spotlight' to play how i normally do!

Mine was slightly annoyed when I out drove him after almost out driving him on the 1st hole we played. He was getting annoyed by the time I beat him on a hole with a birdie to his par.

We were playing from the blue tees and when he failed to clear the lake on the 2nd to last hole we played he wasnt happy, I then proceeded to nail a 280 yard drive over the water into the middle of the fairway! If we had brought handicaps into it I would have won one up over the 7 holes we played off the blues!

Nah Im joking, I did do all those things but he was more happy for me than anything :D
