Hybrid's

I recently change my iron's and now have a 21deg and 18 deg hybrid instead of 3,4 and 5 irons. I've played two rounds with them and have still yet to hit a good shot with them. Almost every shot is topped. (I even missed one completely yesterday). I been to the range a few times and not really been a lot better. I know in the long run lessons are the answer but just wonder if anyone any tips

Hi,
Just hit them the same as your irons u may be trying to hit them to hard because they look like a wood rather than a iron.

I HAD THE SAME ISSUE - ON MY ADDRESS I SIMPLY said to myself 4 iron 4 iron 4 iron.........true enough i hit it more like a mid iron as opposed to a wood.
It worked - i no longer need to go through this mantra
