Q-School Graduate
Played there yesterday. Funny little place near Filey, 9 hole course about 2500 yards in the grounds of what used to be a private school.
It was ok, but a bit rough and ready. Got the impression it's a bit of a one-man band operation, the fairways and greens aren't really up to the standard you would expect at a decent club. It is a nice setting though, and definitely has potential to be good if a bit more money was spent on it.
Pricing was a bit odd - £12 for 9 holes and £12 for 18. I only had time for 9, so felt a little bit ripped off. £35 for a week's golf is decent value though if you are on holiday round that way.
