Hull/Grimsby

North Bank - Cottingham is a nice little course, there are several others but I've not played any of them.

South Bank - Grimsby is allegedly very good (not played it myself), Scunthorpe Ashby Decoy is a nice track. Normanby Hall is a decent Municipal.

Bob:

Elsham is a nice course, altho I havent been for a few years.

North of the River:
Cottingham - not a bad 'new' course, but quite busy, and quite 'open'. Reasonable probably.
Hull GC. (Kirkella) Very undulating, very established, great greens, and you do have some room for error, as some fairways are adjacent.
Hessle GC: Really maturing now, quite long, and USGA type greens, - very tricky/undulating !

Brough Golf Club: My own course. Tight Par 68, lots of variation and in really coming into its own before our Pro-Am in 2 weeks.
Not the 'cheapest' to play, but definitely the best course in/around Hull. Even friends of mine who play @ Hull concede that !

I'm playing an Am/Am Thurs pm, so not sure I could even join you to sign you in, - what time were you thinking of ?

Thanks Chris.
Sorry, we have been invited to play at Pontefract by Tonecapone but the next time we're up that way we'll certainly give you a shout. Course looks stunning
