As requested by some. Here's Tashy'd 1st post from the original thread.
It’s difficult to broach this subject without mentiioning The “ P” word Which is banned on this Forum. So before you post keep Politics out of it or else it will be another topic blocked.
But, Royalty, Social media, Sports including F1, Football etc etc. There just seems to be a standard of morals that quite frankly is in the gutter. How have we got to the stage that respect seems to have gone out of the window. Not just that but how do we reverse the trend.

Thoughts please.

To answer the original question, do a bit of historical reading, and you'll find that it probably isn't any worse than it was tens/hundreds/thousands of years ago.
It is just now more publicly available and published. Lots of this stuff never got found out, or people just accepted it as that is what people in power do.
As the saying goes, "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely".

Also, it's crazy that this thread was started, just get the original thread back on track.
