Hoping Hawkeye might be brave enough to partner me in the Volvo event. We were drawn away at Maidenhead last year and I shanked it round all 18 holes and HTL only lost 1 down. We should have beaten them with ease. This year will be different and we usually get some decent courses to play. Had we won we would have been at East Berks and then Wentworth if we'd won that. No wonder I drove him into premature retirement

I was one of the very early members of Gaudet Luce (they were still having stone picking partys at the time) when the whole course was GUR lol. In all fairness Gaudet is still one of my favourites and one of only two courses i have shot under par gross. Played their last year and was VERY impressed with the course.

I am a member at Kings Norton GC now.
