How many reserved parking slots do you have at your club?
President, Captain, Lady Captain, Secretary, Manager, Treasurer, Pro, Club Champion etc etc and should your club have them?
AND......why do so many clubs have diagonal parking slots?
Bored :(

None. and None. We have no car park spaces specifically. We share parking with The Carnoustie Golf Hotel directly opposite the club, so there's no reserved spots.
We're all equal in the eyes of the car park.

Think my club is not to bad has i think at a guess somewhere between 6-8 spaces..

At Ballyliffin on sunday there must have been close to 20 spaces.. Most of which where not being used.

But it must be nice to have your own space, but in saying that i need a better car worth parking in it first lol.

I hate it when finishing a round and heading to the car park with the few random guys that i might have played with that day to find them loading up audi's and new bmw's etc.. Deff a good reality check that your back in the real world lol

and for the record i would be driving a 1990 golf mk2 or a corsa diesel with 145k miles :D

I think there's about 6 or 7 reserved at our club, all closest to the doors of the clubhouse.

I've noticed that the closer the space is to the club house, the fatter that person is ;)

7
Prez, hon-Prez, chair, captain, Ladies captain, secretary & a charity space (highest donation gets spot for 1 year)

We have 2, Captain and Ladies Captain. Use of the Captains spot is usually auctioned off for the year on Charity Day and he parks with the rest of us.

Played at Royal Blackheath and they have a spot right in front of the clubhouse with a sign that says "Field Marshall". Pretty cool.

Woburn must now have a spare spot as one near the clubhouse is reserved for "Ian Poulter - Touring Professional". Bit of a waste now he lives in Florida.

Just Captain and lady Captain secatray parks by his office and clubhouse staff which is a strip of gravel next to the clubhouse the more cars parked there could be hit with a slice.

Our club has the usual, director, steward, officials not over the top really, the work the committee guy's put into keeping the club running well I do not think a car spot is over the top as perks go. We have a raffle £1.00 per ticket to win a parking spot, think I'll have a go.

I think we have only 6 or so.

I thought about writing a sign of my own near to the practice area with "RGDave" written on it. No-one would ever park there, no-one knows who that would be.
