My calculator doesn't have enough digits, honestly far too many to guess and add up, It'll be right up in the high hundreds, in fact, I don't think I have a single limb that doesn't have a decent scar, both feet, both legs, both arms & hands, body, head, face and even an emergency circumcision, now that was painful

It would have to be a guess at around 200. Probably a third of those without anaesthetic. Most in one sitting was 36 to an eye injury - that was a long 2 hours!

Most of my operations have involved the long single running stitch, rather than a dozen individual ones.
Which is fine until the student nurse tries to pull it out without cutting the far end... and keeps pulling!

No idea what the running total would be now. Ten years ago I had an Op to remove a tumour from my neck, I ended up with 25 clips holding my face and neck together in a sort of inverted ? shape. My daughter was still quite young at the time and she kept bringing her friends in to see the zip up the side of my head.

Lol I do remember one thing, don't have a surgeon who thinks he is funny. Having your sack tampered with is not fun, so when the surgeon asks if it's too cold in the room and would I like the heating turned up, did not make me laugh...
