Screwback
Tour Rookie
I know I've only had my new Pings for a week, but I've been out on the course and hit in excess of 500 balls on the range and I can't get a feeling of control over them at all. Distance control is way off - good strikes (few and far between) travel varying distances, accuracy is all over the place and the look and feel isn't there either.
I spent 2 hours on the range this afternoon with the i15's and my old X20 Tours hitting the 3 or 4 balls with the same number club to a target and the Pings were useless in my hands. Now I know i'm used to the X20T's but I'm also no mug with a golf club and there's just something not right with these. They're 1/2 inch longer than standard and 2.25 degrees upright as fitted and this is obviously going to take time to get used to - but how long, how many balls have I got to hit before I know whether these clubs are right for me?
Right now I'm on the verge of putting the X20T's back in the bag and dumping the Pings - they're even starting to not look nice (that'll please you Murph!).

Stick with them dont mix them with your other irons IMO new irons just need a bit of positive thought if they are not going well and you will soon have them eating out your hands
