Isn't it? Can't be many jobs as cushy as driving round Ireland in a mobile home, playing golf nonstop for two years. A dream job? Abso-golfing-lutely!
I bought the book and got it today. Been laughing me head off. It's not really supposed to be funny but the author doesn;t take prisoners. If he thinks a course is rubbish he's happy to say it. Me nd my mates have played in Ireland a couple of times and I agree with what he says on the places Ive visited - The European, Wicklow, The Island (still a great value place if you head over), Portumna, East Clare and Nenagh.
If you plan to go golfing in Ireland I reckon this is a book to give you some inspiration. If any of you have other good books on golf in Ireland let me know. Almost forgot - book's called Hooked - An amateur's guide to the golf courses in Ireland. Catchy isn't it!
