How far to the club you are a member of?

Hi,

Have been thinking for a while about changing clubs when my membership is due for renewal in October and one of the main reasons is the club is about a 20 mile drive to get to, so takes around half an hour. Just wondering how far everyone else is to there club?

5 miles to mine, which takes 10 - 15 minutes.

About 7 or 8 miles and so takes about 10-15 minutes. It a real home from home

20 miles or so to mine, on country roads, takes me betweem 30 - 40 minutes depending on time of day.

I have a short 5 mins stroll to the clubhouse, perfect!

New club is about 4 miles away but it takes about 15 minutes to get there as I have to get across town. And at the moment they're digging up most of the town and starting again so it takes a little longer!!

6/7 mile across country roads, takes about 10 mins provided don't get stuck behind a farmer taking his cows in

At the moment its 6 miles away on the other side of town usually takes 10-20 mins depending on traffic

I'm about 10 miles from my new course, it's across country so takes about 20 mins.

About 2 minute walk to the 4th or 5th tee, about 5 min walk to the clunhouse.

So looking at the responses time to get there isn’t that different to most but distance is a bit further. Not sure if I should join a more local club.

18 miles and 30 minutes away......however it is where i work so i can play 8 times a week sometimes.
however in holiday times its a 3 minute drive.

Or 12minutes if I'm late on the tee.
