How do you decide?

Which posts to read?

Do you go by the title, who has posted it, which section it's in? etc etc

There are some posts which are always difficult to read due to lack of sentencing and bad spelling and others which are a joy to read.

Some posts are long drawn out affairs and some are short and to the point.

So do you read every post or are you more selective?

Personally, I tend to read the shorter posts and avoid the football threads

User names definately attract me, certain people I value there opinion much higher then others so tend to go to their posts first. Generally if it sounds interesting I read it.

Is he finished yet Normaly the heading that gets my attention Bob , il normaly have a quick peek into most, but the real long ones i just give up on , love the rules questions & reading the different answers, at times i wonder do we all play the same game have learned alot in my short time on here ..

I read all the posts except those that end in the word "Knob" or "Name" only takes a couple of minutes.

I would to tend to go by thread title, a descriptive or witty title get my attention.
Poster wouldn't tend to put me off I have to say.
I do get a little tired with the emphasis on distance when golf is definitely of the old adage 'it's not how but how many'. Yes it's nice to do it well but we have all scored good rounds scrambling like hell from everywhere but the fairway.
