How do you choose your glove and why?

I'm not wanting to take the thread off track, but does cabretta leather make a difference?

+1 for the Srixon Cabretta ... Great feel to the glove and very reasonably priced too.

I also rate the Puma Formation glove, great fit, with some super soft panels for tight but comfortable fit. Lastly I once had an Ecco glove that was very nice to use, no idea on the price of that one but felt great.

I've no real idea. I find it gives me a good grip, more so than synthetic gloves. Its a personal taste. Of course they aren't so good in the wet so I tend to take some spares or synthetic ones when playing in wet conditions

Might give one a go then. I had a callaway one that I liked (nice and tight) but never been able to get another one, tried fj, bridgestone etc but can't seem to get one that I like as much as that callaway one. :(

Tend to buy the fj weather soft ones as they fit nice at a decent price. Bought one of the ping ones as it was first comp and had forgot to buy a new glove, £15.99!! Got home and found I'd saved a new fj one in my golf box of tricks!! Nice glove but not worn to well.
