Horrible weather - great Golf!

It was howling a gale today at times and the rain was horizontal most of the time. Strangely it wasn't that cold, certainly not as cold as it looked.
Didn't get off to a great start - +4 after 4 holes but then the game kicked in. Level par for the next 14 holes saw me in with a 74 (+4) for 41 points - 22 coming home with a blob on the 10th! 4 birdies and some good putting (26 in total, 11 on the back 9) made it a good day's work! Took Fragger to the cleaners again (he got a creditable 33) but to be fair we both played decent golf in uncomfortable conditions.
Hopefully a nice chop down to 8 will be the reward.

No match next week, coz we are at the Ryder Cup on Friday.

May need to up my game if im going to kick his fat ass anytime soon

Couldn't play the Medal wednesday as I had to work till 11 and everyone had gone out - we have roll-up comps midweek - but went out and played from the whites anyway. Shot 76 and would have won the medal had I been able to be in it.
So 150 shots for 2 rounds and I had another 4 birdies making 8 in the 2 rounds. Some nice end of season form.

Had a good day myself in similar conditions. In a big society day at my home course I shot 6 over for 38 points (playing off 3/4) to finish second.

Walked off with over £130 worth of prizes, and put a card in to go with a 74 for 2 over on Wednesday.

Hoping for a cut of maybe a shot to get me to single figures.
