Holiday Book Recommendations

David Baldacci, particularly:
Camel Club Series
King and Maxwell series

Second te recommendation for Watch My Back by Geoff Thompson, excellent book that started an entire genre of biographies of shady hard cases. It hasn't been surpassed by any that followed it.

Another recommendation for Geoff Thompson. Also along the same lines is Robin Barratt. I consider Robin a friend and have worked with him in the past and I can tell you what he talks about in the books is very much real.

Also Tell No One by Harlen Coben. Very good book, they made it into a good a film. His other one off books (not in the Myron Bolitar series) are also good, but Tell No One is the best place to start.

Mmm that was a very good book.
Listened to all the Myron Bolitar series on audiobook ( I do a lot of driving0, kinda not bad but get a bit samey after a while.

Anything by David Mitchell but they aren't exactly "seat of your pants" :D

Oh, also the John Thorne series by Mark Billingham and Inspector Banks books by Peter Robinson. You could argue that the recent ones have tailed off a bit but there's plenty of excellent work if you start at the beginning.

I see youve mentioned The Late Tom Clancy as a previous fave

well a guy called Michael Joseph has taken over the characters and story lines to continue the jack Ryan stories

Just read Command Authority and enjoyed it

of course if you have already read that, then just ignore my ramblings :)

Keith Gillespie's autobiography is definitely worth a read.
Gazza's is brilliant from start to finish.
Slash (guns & Roses)
John Daly.

All good books.

If a fan of dan brown then the sam bourne books are pretty good. Righteous Men was a top seller a few years back but theres a few others in the series now which are pretty good.

If you like 'quirky' then Jasper Ffordes books are incredible. The nursery crime division series is one of the best series I've read.
