No seriously, it was a dirty great 3 wood, but the course was so wet after last night's rain that anything less wouldn't have got there!

I've never worried about comparitive distances- I hit in average 2 clubs more for any given distance than most women i play with as I have a very high ball flight. Help the ball stop on the green- or in the hole!!

Absolutely no need to justify which club you used. The reason why, it went in the frikking hole :). Therefore it was the perfect club for that hole. Many congratulations.

And also you can brag that it's all very well getting hole in ones with wedges and 9 irons, yawn yawn, who hasn't? But how many of us have got a hole in 1 with a 3 wood!!!
